Pedagang Pasar Taman Puring Terus Didata

S. Jakarta PPKUKM Gathers Data on Taman Puring Market Vendors

South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency is still re-verifying data on vendors at Taman Puring Market, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, which was affected by fire not long ago.

"This data will serve as a reference for future arrangement and development,"

According to Head of South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency, Parulian Tampubolon, the data collection process is expected to be completed within two months.

Taman Puring Market Revitalization Must Be Accompanied by Security System Evaluation

"We are still re-verifying data on Taman Puring vendors. The process is taking time as they are currently scattered," he said on Wednesday (8/20).

Parulian explained that re-verification is necessary because the vendors are not centralized in one point. Many vendors are still operating around the market area, while others are selling temporarily in other locations or their homes.

"Once the verification process is complete, we will report it to the leader to support decision-making," he mentioned.

According to him, data collection includes information on number of active vendors, types of goods sold, and kiosks or stall ownership status.

"This data will serve as a reference for future arrangement and development," he shared.

He added that the South Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency has deployed field personnel to conduct on-site verifications. The process also involves coordination with market management, local authorities, and vendor representatives.

He noted that re-verification is crucial to ensure all vendors are fairly accommodated in future arrangement plans.

"We aim to carry out arrangement without significantly disrupting trading activities. We hope all vendors will cooperate during the data collection process," he concluded.
